Step back. Tense your shoulders.
Hold for a count of 7 then release them.
Scrunch up your shoulders and arms up towards your chin.
Hold for a 7 count, then release.
Gently bow your back forwards
Gently bow your back backwards
Return to standing up right.
Close your hands into fists as you reach towards the sky
Lower arms and release your fists.
Begin to notice your breathing.
Take three deep breaths and hold each one for a count of 3
In between inhaling, exhale slowly until the exhale is complete.
Feel your physical being in this space.
Marvel at how resilient your physical being really is.
Find space for quiet today.
Invite God to be with you.
See God being with you.
What does that look like? See it? See it!
What does it feel like to have God be with you.
Welcome Him/Her to be with and stay with you.
Begin taking time to welcome God to do these things throughout today.
God to enfold me
God to surround me
God in my thinking
God in my words
God in my sleeping
And in my waking
God in my watching
God in my hopes
God in my life
God in my lips
God in my heart and my soul
In my sufficing
And in my slumber
In my eternal and living soul

Rest as yesterday’s weight continues.
